NUTRITION: We feed all of our puppies Prurina Pro Plan Puppy food with DHA. In your go home, we include a sealed sample of the dry and a can and lid for the wet form. We only feed the dry kibbles. We use Badlands Ranch as a topper and treat for training. We also takes a teaspoon of cottage cheese every morning.
HOME PLACEMENT EXPECTATIONS: We strongly prefer buyers with a flexible working schedule, such as working from home or retired; Children are okay, but the older, the better. Families living in a house with fenced in yards for supervised playtime is preferred. Absolutely no public parks until your puppy is fully covered against parvo, but he/she will be safe in your own backyard with your uptodate on shot pets. Apartments and townhouses may be okay depending on buyer's lifestyle. Wee pads of fake grass pads would be the best until his parvo vaccine schedule is complete. Buyers experienced with breed are a plus but we do not discourage anyone who doesn't. If you are looking for the closest thing to a young child, this is the breed for you! And we are here to educate.
APPLICATION PROCESS/WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: If you know you have puppy, you may click on the blue button below this listing. This action will bring you to the application form. Please do send me a text to my cell phone (352)467-2600 to let me know you have applied for your puppy.After we have spoken with you and approved your application you will remit your non-refundable deposit via Venmo or Zelle. We will change the status of the puppy on all applicable platfforms where the puppy is listed. You can pay the balance here using Venmo, Zelle, or cash(no extra fees of any kind!) at pick up (within one week of the puppy's ready date). We do have a payment link through Good Dog if you require buyer protection and want to pay with a credit card. Please be aware that this payment option includes tranaction fees and the newly imposed local/state taxes which varies by county. we do not collect these fees. Good Dog does! We respond within a few hours.
WHEN IS FINAL BALANCE DUE?/ DELIVERY/ PICK UP: Normally, the final balance is due when the puppy is ready to go home; however, most of the time, this happens on a week day when we are working and the buyer is also tied up with other things and our schedules don't match up, so the first Saturday following the ready date is the day we expect payment whether or not you are ready to pick up the puppy. We charge a daily fee of $35 per day after the scheduled pick up day.

Balance of $2,200is due on 4/21 at pick up. At his price range, Airport drop off is $250 extra; any travel required is $1 per mile round trip from hour home in Dade City, FL 33523. Thank you for your interest in Giovanni. AT-A-GLANCE: Giovanni is ready to go home with the right family. Gio is a kaninchen/small male! At 11 weeks, he weighs only 3.14! He was born on 2/3/26 to Kingpindoxies Doroteya and Litl Fut Qaletaqa. He showcases a soft, long coat that waves ; long ears and snout, short legs, and long, sausage-shaped body, with a happy tail that wags everytime he makes eye-contact with us. PERSONALITY AND EARLY INTERESTS: Giovanni is a sweetheart, playful, and human-oriented puppy who loves to be included. Giovanni has exceptional bedside manners. All he wants to do is hang out with you, be on on your lap. He will stay still when told to stay. He will saty on your lap and behave while watching TV or getting a brush (he loves it!) Very affectionate and laid back. Comes quickly when called. We call him Gio. LIFE STYLE AND CRATING: Giovanni is accstumed to nighttime crating and daytime activities in a safe home environment. We also spend time with him outside playing ball and throwing sticks which he loves to catch, and doing basic leash training. He has had his first car ride/sight seeing which he did very well. No upsets. We would only place him in a home that does not rely on routine daytime crating. For this reason alone, we strongly prefer families working from home or retired. Families with outdoor lifestyle are preferred for Giovanni. PEDIGREE/LINEAGE: Giovanni's pedigree is well documented by European champion bloodlines. This will be evident on the copy of his AKC pedigree cretificate we will send home along with his AKC registration. Giovanni's dad and grandfather were sired by Euopean champions. EXPECTED ADULT SIZE: Giovanni is tracking beautifully on the smaller end of the miniature dachshund range. Based on his current growth pattern, we expect him to mature around 8–10 lbs full grown. He has maintained a consistent, healthy growth rate, which is exactly what we like to see in well-bred puppies from established lines. His size places him in that highly sought-after “true miniature” category. We do weekly weight ins.
HEALTH/GENETICS/VET STATUS: Giovanni is PRA non-affected by genetic heritage and genetically, he is cleared by inheritance of all tested conditions, except for those intrinsic to the breed. Giovanni's father is IVDD clear and his mother is PRA clear. Giovanni has passed vet screenings and was issued a Florida Health certification. He will go home uptodate on shots. Giovanni has also been micropchipped and his family will have a lifetime Buddy ID microchip service free of charge for them.
