How to bring your puppy home

Reserving Your Puppy

To reserve a puppy, you must submit an approved application and pay a non-refundable deposit. Deposits are $500 for solid color puppies and $750 for dapple puppies.

Our puppies are priced from $2,800 to $4,000 with limited AKC or CKC registration. Dapple puppies may be priced higher depending on the individual puppy, and pricing may vary by litter.

Your deposit removes the selected puppy from advertising and guarantees that we will hold that puppy for you. In return, it confirms your commitment to complete the purchase. Deposits are non-refundable unless the puppy becomes unavailable through no fault of the buyer.

Please apply only after carefully considering the puppy’s price, appearance, lineage, and suitability for your family. We recommend having the full purchase amount available before reserving. Buyers who cancel when a puppy is 7–8 weeks old may forfeit their deposit and be placed on our no-sell list.

Families receive regular updates as their puppy grows. Puppies may go home after eight weeks of age once cleared by our veterinarian. We reserve the right to keep a puppy longer when additional development or veterinary care is needed. Vaccinations and deworming will continue while the puppy remains in our care.

Every puppy goes home microchipped with complimentary lifetime registration, well socialized, pre-spoiled, and introduced to crate training and basic obedience commands.

Once your puppy is ready, pickup or a reasonable halfway meeting must be arranged promptly. If we do not hear from you within several days, we may consider the puppy available for placement with another family.

Payment

Payment plans may be arranged through Good Dog upon request. Good Dog charges transaction fees and may offer additional services during checkout. These fees and services are provided solely by Good Dog and are not affiliated with Kingpindoxies.

All buyers who begin communication through Good Dog are required to submit all payments through Good Dog—no exceptions. Our Good Dog payment link is: https://pay.gooddog.com/kingpin-doxies

Buyers reserving directly through our website may pay the deposit and balance through Zelle or Venmo. The remaining balance may also be paid in cash.

Your puppy must be paid in full before going home. If the balance is not paid when the puppy is ready, the puppy may be made available to another family. All deposits remain non-refundable.

Pricing

Our puppies are individually priced based on color, coat type, sex, bloodline, and AKC or CKC registration status. Thoughtful pricing reflects the quality of our breeding program and helps ensure each puppy is placed with a prepared, committed family.

Returning Kingpindoxies families receive a $250 discount.

Transportation

We can meet buyers halfway from Dade City, Florida 33523, for an additional fee at our discretion. If you need transportation, reach out to us first for a consultation. Airport drop-off at Tampa International Airport (TPA) may also be arranged.

Puppy Pick-Up and Registration

At pick-up, we review your puppy’s feeding routine, care essentials, and transition schedule. We feed Purina Pro Plan dry puppy food.

Your puppy’s go-home bag includes:

Our feeding chart and recommended schedule
BuddyID microchip number and Vet paperwork (Health certificate)
Paid-in-full receipt
Dry and wet food samples
Blanket and toy
Puppy collar and leash
Available coupons

Each litter is registered with AKC or CKC according to the parents’ lineage.

For CKC puppies, we submit the registration paperwork on your behalf. Completed limited-registration and complimentary copy of litter linege are mailed to you once processed, typically within 30–60 days. Owners are encouraged to transfer the puppy into their name; CKC charges a small transfer fee.

For AKC puppies, you will receive an email from AKC with a pdf of the registration and complimentary copy of the puppy lineage with the last 3 generations and the same original documents through the mail. Puppies are sold with limited registration unless full registration or breeding rights have been approved and purchased.

Kingpindoxies reserves the right to decline breeding-rights requests to protect the integrity of our bloodlines.

Lifetime Return Policy and Breeder Support

Our puppies are part of our legacy, and our commitment to them lasts a lifetime. No Kingpindoxies dachshund should ever be surrendered to a shelter or rescue.

If you are ever unable to care for your dachshund, please contact us. Your ddacshund may be returned to Kingpindoxies, where we will provide loving care and, when appropriate, carefully place him or her with a suitable new family. We remain available to support our puppy families throughout their dachshund’s life.
